\"Master'sMaster’s License:”Fourteen-year-old Kelleen Rynin has grown up on a spaceship under the relentless tutelage of her father, Captain Sted Rynin. Intellectually gifted, she obtained her pilot’s license at the precocious age of twelve. Now, her father insists she takes the International Trader’s Union Master’s License test\u2014a grueling challenge that requires her to board a ship in distress and take command.<\/p>\n

Kelleen wakes on a decrepit spaceship and discovers pirates have imprisoned its crew. To make matters worse, the ship has been rigged with demolition bombs. When Kelleen realizes that the ITU expected her father to intervene and save her, she knows he won’t\u2014doing so would invalidate the test. With time running out and the crew’s lives in her hands, Kelleen must navigate deadly pirates, failing ship systems, and imminent destruction to prove her worth and earn her Master’s License.<\/p>\n

If only her relatives, and her own staff would stop insisting she marry General Davan Mor’a’stan, she might get something done.<\/p>\n
