My love of fantasy started very early when I read The Wizard of Oz when I was the tender age of six. The cover was interesting though the book was much thicker than the other picture books in children’s book bin in the public library. I didn’t understand much of the book, but I was fascinated by the witches, good and bad. Nothing was cooler than them.
Things got much worse on me on the discovery of a book on Greek mythology in the library of my Catholic grammar school. The nuns, unhappy with my fascination with the book, tried to get me to read other, less pagan things. They were unsuccessful.
Things progressed ten years after reading about the wizard into a serious J.R.R Tolkien habit when I came across a red bound leather edition of The Lord of the Rings in the library of my Catholic High School. I checked it out the maximum number of times allowed, and when I was no longer able to do so, started writing my knock-off of Middle Earth in geometry class which incidentally was incredibly boring. The teacher barely passed me so he wouldn’t have to have me again as a student.
In college I got involved with a bunch of very shady characters in the science fiction club who among other things, induced me to edit their fanzine. Of course, I included my own stories and found that people liked reading them.
So I wrote more.
In addition I write fantasy and science fantasy. To my fund my writing addiction I also ghostwrite SFF and paranormal books. Ssh, I can’t tell you the names of the titles, but if you need a ghostwriter for your stories, shoot me a line and we can discuss what you need.
